Beachfront Rentals

VDM5 Policies and Guidelines

Check-In:      3:00 p.m.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CONFIRMATION LETTER THAT WAS SENT TO YOU SHOWING THE UNIT NUMBER YOU RENTED AVAILABLE WITH YOU AT CHECK-IN.
The Unit you have rented is on a lock box. The lock box is located on the garage door. Please make sure once you are paid in full that you have the lock box codes that were mailed or emailed to you with you before you go to Rocky Point otherwise you will not be able to get into the condo. Please Note: There is a gate to get into the condos. It's usually open during the day and closed at night. It is not locked so if the gate is closed you'll need to get out of your car to open it to enter the condo complex.

Check-Out:   11:00 a.m.
Please put the keys back in the lock box and make sure all the doors are locked. Failure to do so will result in a $20 fee
for each set of keys or possible loss of your damage deposit.

Emergency Number:  Please do not go down to the office/house where the condos are located because those people do not own or manage the condo you are staying in. For any problems associated with LB12, MIR-7, MIR-8, MIR-9 or MIR-10, please contact Carolina at Casa de Carolina.

Please contact Carolina at Casa de Carolina in Rocky Point in case of any emergency at the condo (water problems, heat problems, key problems, etc.). She is located at the corner of Campeche and Ramos Arizpe (please see maps). Campeche is the street you came down prior to turning onto Matamoras Blvd to get to the condos. If her red Toyota 4runner is in the carport, just pull into her parking lot and honk the horn. She'll come out to assist you. Her phone number in Mexico is 383-5482.

Water: Please use water wisely. The City water generally fills the reservoir each afternoon. Normal water use will not cause any problems, but if you use too much water you may run out until the next afternoon. We suggest limiting the length of your showers and not to leave water running any longer than absolutely necessary. If the water does not work, check that the switch on the wall by the water pump in the garage is set to "ON". If the pump runs continuously when noone is using water then you may have used it all. Turn the pump switch off and wait until the reservoir fills up (usually in the afternoon). Do not wash off the patio by the beach with the hose. It will get very slippery. Instead, use the broom from the hallway closet.

Air Conditioner: Please use the AC as you would at home, i.e. do not leave all of the windows and doors open when it is running. If the AC in the courtyard bedroom is not blowing cold air, press the "MODE" button on the remote until it points to the snowflake. Please turn off this AC when you are not in the room. Please turn off the AC when you are not in the villa and at the end of your visit.

Toilets: The villa is on a septic system. Please use the toilets and sinks only as needed. Please limit the paper that you put in the toilets and do not throw any garbage in the toilets - only toilet paper.

Phones: Some US Mobile phones will work in Rocky Point. If you are calling another US number (including US mobile phones of friends who are visiting in Mexico) dial 001+AC+phone number.

Occupancy: If at any time, you have more people in your rental unit than you made reservations for, you may lose your security/damage deposit, be evicted without any refund or charged $20.00 per extra person per day.
